Apple has again come to the forefront with its new iPhone 3G - S. A much faster phone and at a reduced price. Apple iPhone lost to Research in Motion’s Blackberry Storm in the bid to become the top phone in the US in the first quarter. Apple is in high regards with its 50,000 applications to back up the phone but it was indeed the pricing factor and availability with different wireless operators that gave Blackberry the lead.
With its latest release Apple has again set the $199 mark but with a new phone and again AT&T as its provider. Many recent iPhone 3G buyers are complaining about the fact that they would have to pay the same amount of money or even more to get an upgrade.
Blackberry’s Storm as compared the newest Apple iPhone 3G-S already has a powerful camera with video recording at the same price. Will the iPhone 3G-S take the lead in the second quarter is just wait and watch game.
To add to the war Plam Pre is also there with comparative features to iPhone 3G-S and Blackberry Storm. The choice for the customer is now being more difficult which more options, all of which are top quality.
The battle in on let see who wins the war in the end.
